Dear Resident,
I believe that every person and family in our community matters. You and your family should have your concerns treated seriously. For too long we have been ignored and taken for granted.

I believe people are looking for a consistent, long-term track record of community leadership in their elected representatives. I want to bring a fresh approach to the issues that matter to you.

For more than a decade I have been working for the local community in the Helensburgh area. I am first and foremost a local, who has lived and been involved in our community for more than twelve years. I am here for the long haul.

I was a leader in the community campaign against the airport at Holsworthy. I have been involved as a volunteer with our youth. I have been President of Helensburgh Soccer Club and was involved in the launch of a counselling service for drug and alcohol addiction and ran the highly successful Carols in the Park for many years.

Everyone has a right to expect integrity and honesty in our local member. My record and background demonstrate I am committed to strong, family values - values that helped create our community as one of the best places in Australia in which to live. History shows that locals with a longstanding association with their electorate will stand up for their community in the tough times and that’s exactly what I intend to do for you, if elected as the Member for the state seat of Heathcote.

I cherish being a local - it is really important to me. I chose to live in our community and have been a part of it for the last 20 years. My wife and children have all been born and raised in the area.

In short, I trust my record and my demonstrated commitment to our area prove to you I’m a long-term local with your best interests at heart.

On 22 March when you enter the polling booth, I ask you for your vote so that I can return that support over the next four years as your local Member for Heathcote in the NSW Parliament.
