This season Helensburgh will be fielding two teams in the new over 35 competition run by the Wollongong District Amateur Soccer Association (WDASA). The over 35s or Masters division will run in conjunction with its three all age divisions and all games are played on a Saturday afternoon at 1 or 3pm. The over 35 teams will have unlimited interchange with five substitute players. These teams will also be linked to our two second division teams which will mean Helensburgh will have seven senior men’s teams and one senior ladies’ team.
The over 35s and 2nd division teams will play at home alternate weeks to their parent teams the Thistles.
