During February our Tuesday Bowls were mostly inter-club social bowls. We look forward to our non-playing ladies joining us for lunch, drinks and chatter etc each Tuesday.
4 March - a nice cool day, we competed for the annual Glad Money Trophy. This trophy has been played annually for many decades. Winner S Barnett and L Bartlem. Runners up V West and J McCotter.
11 March - a wet, overcast day, we cancelled our Tuesday bowls. We are now preparing for the 1st round of the annual Ladies Pairs.
On behalf of the Women’s Bowling Club, we extend our sincere condolences to our President, Lenore Bartlem and family on the recent loss of her husband and their father, Norman.
Best wishes to all our ladies who are on the sick list, especially Nova, who was hospitalised for many weeks. We look forward to seeing you all back at the club.
