AUSTRALIAN BREASTFEEDING ASSOC

Helensburgh & Engadine Group
Your local group holds regular informal get-togethers offering mother-to-mother support. We usually discuss a parenting or breastfeeding topic, and our get-togethers are an excellent source of accurate and up-to-date breastfeeding information for mothers and mothers-to-be. A trained Breastfeeding Counsellor is always present to answer breastfeeding questions or offer reassurance. Why not come along to see what you think? Children are always welcome. For venues or more information, please ring one of the counsellors below.
Low milk supply?
Many mothers wean their babies early because they worry they do not have enough milk. We will talk about how to check our babies are getting enough breastmilk. As most supply problems can be overcome, we will discuss some tips to help. Come along to Engadine Neighbourhood Centre (next to Cheesecake Shop) on Friday 13 June at 10am.
Why breastfeed?
We will discuss the benefits of breastfeeding. An ideal get-together for mums with children of all ages (and of course mums-to-be too). Thursday 26 June at 10am.
The Australian Breastfeeding Association is a voluntary non-profit organisation. Our aim is to encourage and support mothers who wish to breastfeed their babies. We welcome new subscribers to support the continuing work of the Association. If you would like to find out more about your local group, please ring one of your local counsellors: Jenny (4267 3987), Hazel (4294 4120), Tracey (9520 3379) or Lee (4294 1114).
