NORTHERN ILLAWARRA NEIGHBOUR AID INC
(A Home & Community Care funded program)
Hi everyone - wintery mornings are making it just that little bit harder to get up and going, but no matter what time of the year, Northern lllawarra Neighbour Aid services are up and going 51 weeks of the year. Our volunteers reach out to members of this community who are frail aged or have a disability, and the carers of these people. We offer transport to doctors and other appointments, shopping and social outings via our community bus, meal services, Cafe Club, home visiting, information and referral and a lot more. Just ask our friendly staff.
To provide these essential services we need you, people in our community who have a few hours to spare each month. Being a volunteer is fun, rewarding and a great way to make new friends. Discover new talents, learn new skills, and give your time to assist someone who needs your support.
We provide training and support as well as vehicle reimbursement.
Look out for us during our I want to be a volunteer drive - you dont have to drive to be one. Ask our volunteers what it really is like to be a volunteer with Neighbour Aid, theyll give you an unbiased opinion!
Talented volunteers wanted... as bingo callers, Cafe Club helpers, singers, comedians, dancers etc. Give us a ring on 4294 1900, have we got a job for you.
