Your local group holds regular informal get-togethers offering mother-to-mother support. We usually discuss a parenting or breastfeeding topic. A Breastfeeding Counsellor is present to answer questions or offer reassurance. Why not come along to see what you think? Children are welcome. Holiday fun with the kids: Come along to Stanwell Park playground on Fri 11 July at 10am. Mums can chat while the children play.
Loving our children: We will talk about being positive with our children and encouraging them to help (or hinder?) For mums with children of all ages. Friday 25 July at 10am.
For information on breastfeeding and early parenting workshops, please ring Hazel on 4294 4120. Held on Saturdays, these are are designed for expectant parents and cover the basic information needed to breastfeed your baby. While natural, breastfeeding is still a learned skill for both mother and baby and it helps to learn as much as you can before the birth.
The Australian Breastfeeding Assoc is a voluntary non-profit organisation. Our aim is to encourage and support mothers who wish to breastfeed their babies.
