OTFORD RURAL FIRE SERVICE

As a volunteer organisation we have been fortunate in receiving continuing support from many members of the community. Our own members have worked for several years to complete the third bay of our station and many hours have been spent making the grounds and gardens beautiful.
The generosity of Phil Brown in donating new helmets for all active members of our Brigade is deeply appreciated.
Bernie Ryan and the staff of the Centennial Hotel have excelled themselves in providing SERVICE (everyone remembers the generator and hospitality at Bernie’s place!) to the community in times of trouble and in making it possible for our Brigade funds to be increased.
Thanks are also extended to members of our local Brigades of Helensburgh, Darkes Forest and Stanwell Park and to Helensburgh NSWFB 325 and Scarborough NSWFB 442 for their support and commitment over the last two fire seasons.
To all of the new members who have recently completed their Basic Training, we say, "Well done". Additional members are always welcome in all units of the Rural Fire Brigade. Should you like to have more information about the many facets of the Brigade and training, the Training Officer for the Wollongong area (4284 8596) would love to hear from you.
