Volunteers: If you have a few hours to spare each month and would like to become part of a wonderful team of volunteers who support and assist the frail aged, people with disabilities and carers in our community, then we would love to hear from you. We are especially looking for people who are available for meal packing on a Monday morning and for delivery of meals. These positions are on a roster basis. Training and vehicle reimbursement is provided. There are also other positions available: individual transport, bus drivers and escorts, home visiting and Café Club volunteers.
Planning day: A most successful service planning day for 2003/4 was held in July. The planning was done in conjunction with members of the committee, staff, clients and volunteers. The aim of the day was to evaluate the previous years service provision and determine if improvements are required, as well as planning for the year to come. The participation from our clients was especially appreciated.
