TOASTMASTERS
More than public speaking

Come along to a Toastmasters meeting and you’ll soon discover that it’s much, much more than public speaking.
At a typical meeting you will meet people who, just like you, were nervous and apprehensive about coming to their first meeting; people who have learnt how to conquer their own public speaking fears and gained many more skills in the process. They have now acquired skills such as learning how to chair a meeting, deliver toasts and speak with confidence and purpose. You will also learn how to listen and make effective evaluations, while providing support and encouragement. All these are extremely valuable skills which are beneficial in developing improved communication.
So please feel welcome to come along and check us out - you might just learn something. Helensburgh Toastmasters Club meets every second Monday at the Helensburgh Workmen’s Club at 7.30pm. Call Vicki (4294 2402) or Phil (4294 8089) for more information.
