Ruby’s owners seek pregnant pause
Babies are the reason Ruby’s Revival Café in Stanwell Park is for sale.
Operators Natalie and Matthew Thistlewaite want more, and business partners Danielle and Simon Beaufils have their hands full with a baby and a toddler.
“Danielle fell pregnant when the sale was going through (last September),” said Natalie.
“And I want to have another baby.”
Natalie and Matt have two-year-old Molly and the demands of parenthood have left little time for owning and operating a café.
Ruby’s is for sale through LJ Hooker Helensburgh, but only the business. The building and land behind will continue to be held by the Beaufils.
Offers above $30,000 are being sought and the weekly rental for the property is currently $350.
Natalie said quite a bit of interest had been shown in the business and Matt, who is Ruby’s chef, had received a few offers as well.
“It was a hard decision to make but, now it’s made, I feel very excited,” she said.
