Helensburgh Women’s Bowling
Rounds of games of elimination are as follows: Nominated Pairs: W. Britten & C.Dixon v L.Bartlem & J. McCotter; T. Thomson & B. Gallagher (sub) v S.Cassidy & R.Christie (sub); J.Van Zyl & J.Killham v J. Smith & R.Sargeant. Queen of the Green for October: V.West.
On 22 November we competed for the annual Bentick Shield. On 30 November, we were invited to join the Towradgi Bowling Club ladies for their annual Friendship Dinner.
Our Christmas Party will be held on 13 December, resuming bowls on 17 January.
As this will be our last report for the year, we extend our Christmas greetings to all our members, associate members and readers.
We especially send our Christmas blessings to our former very loyal members who are now confined to nursing care accommodation: Madge, Ennis, Gladys & Mary.
