Congratulations to Samantha Hammond (U13) and Brett Doran (U12) on their excellent results representing the Illawarra at last month’s NSW Inter-branch Titles at Soldier’s Beach.

Samantha came first in the sprint and the flags while Brett came second in the sprint and flags.

A NSW team (U13 to seniors) was selected to contest the Australian inter-state titles at Maroubra in January with Samantha being selected in this team. An outstanding achievement and well deserved. Good luck.

Round 4 of the Sydney Water carnivals was held at North Wollongong in December with some excellent results.

On completion of the carnival, the winners of the overall pointscore for the four carnivals were announced with Taylor Decker-Armstrong, Brett Doran and Samantha Hammond all winning their respective age groups and Jade Offord coming third. Great effort.

Congratulations to Taylor Decker-Armstrong (U12), Jade Offord (U13) and Callum Guyatt (U15) on being selected in the Development Squad.
