Helensburgh Women’s Bowling Club

Tuesday, 19 April we played social bowls and one round of the annual Major Singles. Winner: V.West. Queen of the Green for April was S. Cassidy.
Tuesday, 26 April, another perfect day. We played social bowls and two rounds of major singles. Winners: V.West & J.Killham.
Tuesday, 3 May, with lovely Autumn weather, we played social bowls and one round of the annual Minor Singles. Winner: B.Gallagher. We also played three rounds of Consistency Singles. Winners: T.Thomson, L.Bartlem & S.Cassidy.
10 May was a beautiful sunny day and we played social bowls and one round of Major Singles. Winner: V.West. One round of Minor Singles was won by B.Durban.
The Women’s Bowling Club extends its sincere condolences to Carol and her family on the passing of her husband, Gerry, after a long illness. We also extend our condolences to the family of Edna Jardine who recently passed away. We especially remember Edna as a hard working, inspiring early foundation member of the WBC 50 years ago.
