Lest We Forget

Anzac Day held particular significance for the family of Spindrift frontman John Bursill (above) this year as his cousin, Lieutenant Matthew Goodall, was one of the Australian service personnel killed in the tragic helicopter crash on the island of Nias in Indonesia.
John layed a wreath in memory of his cousin and all other service men and women who have given their lives in protecting the nation and helping others.
Hundreds turned up for the Dawn Service in Charles Harper Park to mark the 90th anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign with the area’s community, sporting and cultural groups represented.
